Shoin House - Samurai and aristocratic style houses of 

                the Edo Period 1600-1853. Used for reading, writing

 and meditation. Sliding doors open to the water and garden.

  A visitor brought her two Samurai dolls to the garden to photograph them against the Japanese landscape of the garden. About 1&1/2 ft tall, made of resin and authentically dressed in costumes of ancient samurai some 200 plus years ago.
